As well as filming weddings we have many years experience of filming school plays and amateur dramatic
productions. There are certain issues relevant to both types of video, which are covered
in more detail below.
*Schools are required to confirm that parents are aware of the recording in advance *Ashleigh Video personnel will not work alone with children unless supervised by a member of the school staff or a parent. *Ashleigh Video ensures that no material is released for any purpose beyond the agreed contract with the school except by advance written approval. If you are a parent and would like us to videotape a school play exclusively, please call us to discuss the pricing options. Again, if you can generate interest from other parents, we would film on a copy only basis. Please note that parents must secure the permission of the school to videotape the play. Amateur dramatic productionsEach DVD is professionally recorded and titled, along with full credits and acknowledgements at the end of the video. The DVD case insert will contain stills taken from the production too, making a truly personal keepsake.For legal reasons we are only able to record shows which are copyright-free or out of copyright, e.g. Gilbert and Sullivan, otherwise permission must be obtained from the copyright holder to record the performance.
